Step Into Serving

Ministry Areas for Serving

We have lots of ways for you to get involved on Sundays and during the week by joining a serving team. Our serving teams are:

First Impressions

First Impressions Teams create welcoming environments so that people feel accepted and drawn to Jesus. There are a variety of ways to serve within First Impressions! From serving coffee on our Cafe team, to helping people park on our Street team, to greeting new guests and answering questions on our Guest Services team, there’s a place for you to use your gifts here! To get plugged into this team, please email Amanda Carpenter at

Soul City Kids & Students

Soul City Kids and Students has a variety of roles from people greeting families, people to love and play with babies and toddlers, to people to communicate the Bible story to preschoolers or lead small groups of elementary school kids, middle school or high school students. To get plugged into this team, please email Lauren Adams at

The Operations Team keeps Soul City moving, organized and clean. So if you love behind-the-scenes project, are super organized or love to fix or build things, then serving on the Ops team could be a great fit for who God’s made you to be. To get plugged into this team, please email Chris Wheat at

The Creative Team is responsible for creating and producing our Worship Gatherings. Whether you want to run our lighting, audio or video for the Gatherings, or maybe you are an Actor, Artist, Decorator, Video Producer, Graphic Designer or Stage Manager, we would love to have you on this team. To get plugged into this team, please email Sara Emmerson at

Love Works

Love Works where we put the love of Jesus to work to make our city a better place through serving with our Strategic Partners. Whether tutoring kids, cooking and serving meals or building relationships, we believe that love is the only thing that can change the world. This team has non-Sunday serving opportunities, so to learn more about how you can get involved, please email Ebele Onyema at
