How do you ensure safe pick up?

There are three pick up tags. Please give one to the people who will be picking up your kid(s). It is the size of a business card to put in your wallet or hole punched to use as a keychain for the summer. The tag is to ensure safe pick up for each child.

When does my child wear their camp t-shirt?

Kids wear their camp t-shirts on Mondays and Fridays. They may wear them other days as well if they would like.

Will there be food provided?

A mid-morning snack and lunch will be served each day. The menu will be provided, so you’ll know ahead of time what we are serving kids each day. If your child has dietary restrictions or allergies, you can send them with an alternate snack or lunch.

Who will be caring for my child?

Many of our staff are licensed teachers or trained childcare providers. They care deeply about the growth and development of young people. All staff and volunteers are background checked, interviewed and trained. There are also additional volunteers who help throughout the week.

How can parents be involved?

Parents may sign up on our website to volunteer for various roles throughout camp. We also have our Family Showcase each Friday from 12.00-12.30p where you can experience the kids’ performance and art showcase from that week of camp.

Will my child be with kids their age?

Yes, children will be divided into groups based on which grade they are entering in the fall. They will be divided by their ages for preschoolers and by grades for elementary-aged children.

Will there be water play?

Yes, Thursdays we will go to Skinner Park and play in the fountains. Please bring a change of clothes for your child and have them wear a swimsuit on Thursday morning.

What if my child isn't potty-trained? Can they still attend camp?

Children must be potty-trained in order to attend camp. Children who are still in diapers will not be able to attend camp.

How early can I drop my kids off at Soul City Church?

Registration begins at 8:30 am. Doors will remain locked until registration begins. No drop offs will occur prior to 8:30 am.

What is full day?

Our full-day program is for elementary-aged children and runs until 5.00p. Children will continue to be engaged in activities and receive an afternoon snack. There will be a field trip each Friday, and it requires a separate release form signed each week.
